House Committee Wants Answers on Secret Chinese Police Stations in the U.S.
The House Committee on China is demanding answers from the FBI on its efforts to combat China’s “transnational repression” and the alleged existence of secret Chinese police stations operating within the U.S. The request comes after the FBI and federal prosecutors announced the arrest of two New Yorkers who allegedly ran an undisclosed Chinese government police station in Manhattan’s Chinatown neighborhood.
