GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley weighs in on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ war with Disney World during an interview Wednesday on FOX News. She also referenced Trump’s nickname for DeSantis, “DeSanctimonious,” in her tweet sharing the video.

“South Carolina was a very anti-woke state, it still is, and if Disney would like to move their hundreds of thousands of jobs to South Carolina and bring billions of dollars with them, I’ll let them know,” Haley said.

[Well, let’s see how much mileage Haley gets out of this attack. It’s entirely lame, since Disney cannot relocate Walt Disney World. This isn’t a corporate HQ — it’s tens of billions of dollars in fixed assets on top of real estate that Disney paid off decades ago. This is silly beyond measure and a fundamentally unserious response. Haley’s either trying to suck up to Trump or attempting to out-MAGA him, and by this time she should realize the futility of both strategies. — Ed]
