[This is pretty amusing and pretty revealing, although I think some people misunderstand what Pelosi meant by “way on the other side of our democracy”. She means they became Republicans and conservatives once they had wealth to protect, not that they became anti-democratic. Even so, this is highly amusing for its cluelessness. Maybe Pelosi and her fellow Democrats — including Hillary Clinton, which whom she’s talking — should have thought about those incentives before setting them in the first place. — Ed]
