According to reports Trump has hired Todd Blanche, who was an Assistant US Attorney in Manhattan.

Some are suggesting this indicates that Trump feels the case might be more significant than he’s admitting. I’m not so sure.

I could be that Trump just wants the best in order to deal with any unforeseen difficulties related to the New York Court System.

[I don’t think that’s the issue, either. Trump likely wants an aggressive approach right from the start, and a former AUSA with some pugnacity will fill that bill nicely.
