Resumes with pronouns more likely to be circular filed

Yeah, so. . . here in Reality, this headline is a no-brainer. There may not be hard data to back it up, but I think we can all reasonably conclude that someone who not only uses they/them pronouns, but also insists you know that before you ever even meet them, is probably a person whom HR is going to get to know really, REALLY well. And not for good reasons.

The report in question, which was released by Business.com, begins, “Today, approximately 1.2 million LGBTQ+ adults in the United States identify as nonbinary in terms of gender. Most of these individuals are under 30 years old, which means many are embarking on their professional careers” (emphasis added).

The writer’s already hit on like, half the point here, but he remains blissfully unaware of that fact as he goes on to describe and lament the blatant bias that the LGBTQ community faces in the workplace.
