[It’s worth noting that this has a direct precedent in the previous session. Democrats voted to strip Marjorie Taylor Greene of *all* committee assignments over anti-Semitic comments she made. Omar has made several such anti-Semitic remarks, but Pelosi never took any serious action against her. Mace held out for a promise to reform the process of such removals, but there’s no doubting the precedent.
