When Elon Musk bought Twitter, Democrats started convulsing in shock. Now that Elon is issuing policy changes, Democrats are losing their minds. This week, Elon issued a new policy on debating COVID.

Midweek this week, Elon tweeted “New Twitter policy is to follow the science, which necessarily includes reasoned questioning of the science.” Predictably, leftists pounced. “New York Times contributor Wajahat Ali, however. Ali called it ‘something a really dumb person would tweet.’ Journalist Ashton Pittman also likened the new policy to ‘batsh** clown car conspiracy.'” How sad that Pittman and Ali won’t think for themselves. They won’t even accept the things that world-renowned scientists have said. …

It’s sad that these Democrats won’t tolerate original thought. The truth is that Elon Musk is exactly right. Following the science necessarily includes reasoned questioning of the science. I’ve noticed that science doesn’t thrive in authoritarian environments. Authoritarians aren’t into letting people think for themselves. Authoritarians definitely don’t like people questioning things.
