The Republican National Committee on Monday announced its total fundraising haul and campaign efforts with just one day before the midterm elections.
In total, the RNC raised $308 million this election cycle. Of that figure, $31.1 million went to the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the National Republican Congressional Committee, the subordinate organizations that lend support to candidates for the upper and lower chambers of Congress, respectively. …
Outside of financials, the RNC trained over 1 million volunteers this cycle, who in turn made over 100 million voter contacts. Of those, at least 1 million were in 21 battleground states.
[Hopefully, that’s enough to fund a red wave. And just as hopefully, it’s enough to remind Republicans what kind of support they can get when they get serious. — Ed]
