Five years after standing trial on corruption charges, Senator Robert Menendez of New Jersey is again facing a federal investigation, an adviser confirmed.
“Senator Menendez is aware of an investigation,” said Michael Soliman, a New Jersey political consultant who managed two of Mr. Menendez’s Senate campaigns. “However, he does not know the scope of the investigation.”
