A US diplomat who fled the UK after a crash that killed teenage Harry Dunn has pleaded guilty to causing his death by careless driving at the Old Bailey via videolink today.

Anne Sacoolas had been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a crash outside a US military base in Northamptonshire in August 2019.
She was alleged to have caused the collision which killed the 19-year-old motorcyclist near RAF Croughton. …
An extradition request for Sacoolas was submitted by the Home Office after she was charged with death by dangerous driving, but that was rejected by the US State Department in January 2020.
