Mr. McCarthy, I hope the first bill submitted in the House is the Energy Infrastructure Act. It doesn’t exist yet but I hope you find this initiative worthwhile.

I’d like to see the bill be a bicameral, bipartisan bill but if Democrats won’t support the bill, let’s force them to vote for higher home heating bills, higher gas prices and high inflation. To use an old expression, I’d triple-dog dare them to vote against this bill. Force Democrats to tell families that the Green New Deal is more important to Democrats than cutting inflation for families is.
