The CNN report followed a Politico report which said that Harris had been at the DNC the day that supporters of ex-President Donald Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol.

The Fox News anchor said on Wednesday: “Why haven’t we heard that before and why didn’t the Justice Department know? It’s not like Kamala Harris hasn’t talked about January 6, she’s talked about it constantly since the day it happened.

“Just last month, Harris gave a speech in which she said that January 6 was so traumatic that all Americans remember ‘where they were and what they were doing when our democracy came under assault.'”

“It would have been the perfect moment for Kamala Harris to tell us that she herself came within mere feet of a racist insurrectionist bomb,” Carlson said, adding that the fact she has not mentioned it is “completely bizarre.”
