Poll: Just 27% of California parents plan to immediately vaccinate young children

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there is no evidence that any of the COVID-19 vaccines cause fertility problems. Still, the reluctance to vaccinate is strong.

“The little research I have done, yeah, I don’t agree with it,” said Hannah Carr, a mother of four in Orangevale. “I don’t feel safe putting something into their body that in my opinion, hasn’t been researched enough.”

“We don’t know [the] long-term effects,” wrote Mandy Corriea, a mother of a 5 and 12-year-old. “In 10 years, I will be open to the vaccine, should we need it.”
