Democratic operative James Carville, who predicted a blowout by 10pm, attempted to reassure Democratic voters by telling them to “put the razor blades and the Ambien” away in an appearance on MSNBC at 12am.

“The first thing is every Democrat, just put the razor blades and the Ambien back in the medicine cabinet. We’re going to be fine. We’re going to be fine,” Carville reassured Democrats.

Carville called Michigan a “red mirage,” said Pennsylvania “looks really good,” and called Georgia a “big surprise” for Democrats.
