Former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, who decided against a presidential run, plans to release an alternative to the Green New Deal, the House resolution that calls for upgrading “all existing buildings in the United States” and significant federal spending to guarantee all Americans a good-paying job with paid vacation, health-care coverage and retirement security.
