Speaking with the Washington Times from the Oval Office, the President reacted to Barbara Bush’s comments — in which she reportedly called it a “horror” that Trump won the 2016 election.

“I have heard that she was nasty to me, but she should be,” Trump said. “Look what I did to her sons.”

In the new book, The Matriarch: Barbara Bush and the Making of an American Dynasty, by USA Today Washington bureau chief Susan Page, the author reports that Bush kept a clock by her bedside which counted down the amount of time left in Trump’s term.
