"Today" hosts after Megyn Kelly: "We are starting a new chapter"

At the top of the 9 o’clock hour of the flagship NBC News morning show — the time slot formerly occupied by Megyn Kelly Today — Today co-anchor Hoda Kotb announced that the news team would be starting a “new chapter” in the show’s third hour.

“We are starting a new chapter in the third hour of our show,” said Kotb, who was flanked by Craig Melvin and Al Roker. Co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, who is reporting live from Pittsburgh in the aftermath of Saturday’s deadly synagogue attack, also appeared via video during the message. “We want you to know that the entire Today family will continue to bring you informative and important stories just as we always have.”
