Clyburn’s comments come as speculation swirls around the possibility of a Democratic leadership overhaul in the House if the party wins a majority in the 2018 midterm elections.

An increasing number of young Democrats appear to have grown frustrated with the party’s growing time as the House’s minority, along with the veteran leadership teams of Clyburn, Reps. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), and Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), who have failed to win the gavel four times.
