"Every time I do it now, it’s like agony"

Actor Alec Baldwin’s impression of President Donald Trump has definitely become the most well known of the comedy world’s many takes on our current president, thanks to the wide audience that SNL commands.

According to a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, however, Baldwin may be tiring of donning the orange wig and saying “believe me” over and over. Unless he is impeached, after all, the actor has at least three more years of regularly impersonating the president.

Baldwin did not mince words while discussing his feelings about continuously portraying the president, despite the fact that he won an Emmy for the impression.

“Every time I do it now, it’s like agony. Agony, ” he said, suggesting that “if things don’t go in the right direction for the midterms,” he doesn’t know how much longer he could keep doing the portrayal.
