The National Rifle Association (NRA) funds domestic terrorism, according to Johnny Cash’s eldest daughter, Rosanne Cash, in an opinion piece published Tuesday in The New York Times.

Cash, who is a country music singer like her father has been a gun control activist for around 20 years. She wrote a piece about herself titled, “Rosanne Cash: Country Musicians, Stand Up to the N.R.A.” Throughout the article Cash explains she has been urging fellow country musicians to stand up to the NRA, because the organization “funds domestic terrorism.”
