The remarks from NASCAR owners were reported after NFL players, owners and coaches engaged in various kinds of demonstrations after Trump condemned any NFL players who protested the anthem.

Trump on Sunday praised NASCAR, its supporters and its fans for taking a stand.

“They won’t put up with disrespecting our Country or our Flag — they said it loud and clear!” Trump tweeted, referring to NASCAR.
