Trey Gowdy: "If I were Sessions, I wouldn’t stay"

Gowdy says that the problem with Sessions was his memory lapse when he was being confirmed. He also says that it was perfectly proper for him to recuse himself over those lapses.

Another important point Gowdy makes is that Trump is acting like the Attorney General is supposed to be his personal lawyer. He’s not. The Attorney General is more properly, the UNITED STATES Attorney General – he represents US. And that’s why Trump is so angry – he wants Sessions to protect HIM, not us….
