Lawmakers ask for review of Ivanka's security clearance after Trump Jr. meeting

More than 20 lawmakers are questioning a security clearance for President Trump’s daughter amid the controversy of her brother and husband’s meeting with a Russian lawyer and businesspeople.

Ivanka Trump would have been required to disclose not only her foreign contacts, but those from Jared Kushner and Donald Trump Jr. as well, says a letter to the FBI from representatives including New York’s Jerrold Nadler and Nydia Velazquez.

Led by Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.), the group asked that acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe conduct a review of her security clearance process.
