Republican Donald Trump scooped up $100 million last month from small donors, his aides announced Wednesday as his campaign seized on tightening polls to claim momentum in the presidential race with Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Trump’s digital director Brad Parscale called the small-donor haul “an amazing milestone” that proves Trump’s “message is resonating with millions of voters across the country.”
“We have seen significant growth in our fundraising online, just as we see growth in our poll numbers,” he said.
