Bill Clinton mocks Trump supporters as "your standard redneck"

During an event to promote voter registration, Clinton offered a somewhat self-deprecating characterization of the mogul’s supporters, saying they remind him of people he knew in Arkansas before he became state governor and then president.

“Look man, the other guy’s base is what I grew up in,” said Clinton. “You know, I’m basically your standard redneck.”
