Sarah Palin plans to sue Azealia Banks over a series of explicit tweets the rapper has directed at the former Alaska governor, including one in which she appears to suggest the former governor of Alaska should be sexually assaulted.

Palin said she’s taking legal action against Banks, who has since deleted the tweets and issued a lengthy apology to the ex-governor, according to PEOPLE. “I’ve had enough of the unanswered threats and attacks against my family and me,” Palin said in a statement to the magazine. “So, for the first time I’m going to enjoy the only retribution some protected ‘celebrities’ seem to understand — I’m suing Azealia Banks and can’t wait to share my winnings with others who have gone defenseless against lies and dangerous attacks far too long.”
