The Paris attack suspect Salah Abdeslam, who was arrested in Brussels last Friday, was supposed to have taken part in the bomb attacks that hit the Belgian capital on Tuesday, according to a senior Belgian official.

Abdeslam’s fingerprints were found in an apartment in the Brussels neighborhood of Forest that was raided by law enforcement authorities last week, where officers also found detonators that were probably meant to be used in the attacks, said the official, who was speaking on condition of anonymity.
