Marco Rubio’s top donors are set to gather this week for a two-day retreat in Miami — a gathering that comes at a time of growing peril for the Florida senator.

The retreat — which is being dubbed a “leadership huddle” — will take place on Thursday and Friday, immediately before and after this week’s GOP debate. Donors who have raised at least $27,000 are being invited to attend, according to an invitation.
