Megyn Kelly back to moderate second GOP debate on Fox

Fox News’ Megyn Kelly will moderate her second GOP presidential primary debate on Jan. 28, just days before the Iowa caucuses, the network announced Monday.

The debate, which will be held at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, will air at 9:00 pm EST. Fox hasn’t explained yet how candidates can qualify to participate in the last debate before the Iowa caucuses debate.

Fox’s Bret Baier and Chris Wallace will also return for a second time to moderate along with Kelly. The three anchors moderated the first GOP debate on Aug. 6.

There was no small amount of controversy following the first GOP debate, as Trump went on the offensive against Kelly, accusing her repeatedly of treating him unfairly and of asking mean questions. Trump said it was “unprofessional” for Kelly to ask him to address disparaging remarks that he has made about women.

“You once told a contestant on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees,” Kelly said. “Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president, and how will you answer the charge from Hillary Clinton, who is likely to be the Democratic nominee, that you are part of the war on women?”

Trump responded by claiming “political correctness” is killing the country.
