Americans are known for debating tough social issues. They’re also fans of the chicken sandwich.
Chick-fil-A, which recently opened a location in midtown Manhattan, offers both.
The NYC opening on Saturday morning was a well-attended affair. Hundreds of people waited in line all night (inside the restaurant during the last hour, thanks to inclement weather) for the chance to be one of the first 100 people to win free weekly Chick-fil-A for a year.
However, not everyone who showed up to the official opening was there for a sandwich and some waffle fries.
