Ohio judge rules cop should face murder charge in Tamir Rice case

A Cleveland judge found probable cause on Thursday that a police officer who shot and killed a 12-year-old boy who was holding a replica gun should face murder and other charges, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper.

Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Ronald Adrine issued the opinion on officer Timothy Loehmann, days after a group of local clergy and activists filed affidavits requesting action from the court in the death of Tamir Rice, the newspaper said.
