Poll: Democrats rallying around Hillary as e-mail scandal plays out?

Democrats view her as saying what she believes.

More Democrats indicated they liked Hillary Clinton a lot “as a person” after the press conference than did beforehand.  The percentage saying they liked her a lot “as a person” increased 13 points after the conference, from 40% to 53%.  Just 6% of Democrats disliked her.  But as on many other items, Republicans disagree.  In fact, 68% of Republicans in the latest poll dislike the former First Lady “as a person.”

Clinton continues to be seen as a strong leader, even outpacing President Obama on this measure.
