Lindsey Graham says he has “never” communicated via email.

“You can have every email I’ve ever sent — I’ve never sent one,” he claimed on Meet the Press earlier this morning, when host Chuck Todd asked him whether he had a private email account.

In the wake of the furor over Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server during her time as secretary of state, the South Carolina Republican’s admission raises some interesting questions: In this day and age, could someone actually occupy the presidency without using email? Does an unwillingness to use what has become a standard form of communication disqualify a presidential hopeful in the eyes of voters? Should it?
