Sony and YouTube have struck a tentative deal to stream the controversial film “The Interview” on Thursday, according to reports.
The comedy, starring James Franco and Seth Rogen, will also be screened in some movie theaters throughout the country.

Update: Brian Stelter says the film will be available for rental online in various formats starting today at 1 p.m. ET.
