In a court order issued late Thursday, Hickox was instructed to stay away from public transit and workplaces, and not to leave the town of Fort Kent, where she has mostly been holed up in a house, without consulting with public health authorities.
The order applies “until further order of this court” on Friday. The order said that Hickox’s lawyers had agreed that she would follow the instructions until the court weighs in again.
