Moore Police Department Public Affairs Officer Jeremy Lewis told Breitbart Texas that if the case is ultimately handed by the local force it will “absolutely…be a death penalty case.”

The incident, which took place at Vaughan Foods, also involved the stabbing of another female victim. Nolen was apparently angry after being fired at the time of the crimes. He was also thought to be a “radicalized Muslim,” and the extent to which this played a role in the violence is being looked into by investigators.
Lewis told Breitbart Texas that due to the nature of the murder, it is likely that the feds will take over the investigation. But if they don’t, Nolen will probably be put to death if convicted.
