He kept framing Putin’s actions as the stuff conservative dreams are made of, saying, “Putin is undeniably tough, decisive, quick-thinking, a leader who drills for oil, rules for as long as he wants, is relentlessly rough on the gays, and annexes countries at will.”

Touré broke into the satire for a brief moment to ask how patriotic Republicans can be if they’re “drooling over another nation’s leader amidst a conflict with that nation.” He suggested if they “love him so much,” the GOP might as well let Putin “throw his ushanka in the ring.”
