Finally: George W. Bush's paintings to be exhibited

The exhibit will include two dozen portraits never before shown to the public “accompanied by artifacts, photographs and personal reflections to help illustrate the stories of relationships formed on the world stage,” according to a news release obtained by the Dallas Morning News.

In addition to portraits of world leaders, Bush has painted Jay Leno and also likes to paint dogs and Texas landscapes.

The former president takes painting lessons once a week in Dallas and once told his teacher, “There’s a Rembrandt trapped in this body. Your job is to find it.”
