Healthcare.gov is improving

Our December enrollment surge demonstrated that the system can handle more than 1.8 million site visits per day; we have serviced over 83,000 users at once.

As consumers continue to shop for new affordable coverage during this first open enrollment period, we welcome them to HealthCare.gov to find quality health coverage that’s right for them.

As with any website, our tech team continues to make improvements that will enhance the consumer experience. This includes helping those who have appealed a decision to get coverage.

Since many of the issues that caused people to file appeals have been fixed, many people can now move ahead and apply for coverage without needing to continue their appeal. And we added new functionality to support consumers needing to report changes in life situations — having a baby, getting married, etc.
