Boston's unanswered questions

Is this going to affect the immigration debate?

We know Tamerlan and Dzokhar Tsarnaev are immigrants. If there are cracks or flaws in the system, let’s fix it. We know there are 11 million people currently living outside the system. So, let’s fix this. These two terrorists intended to change our way of life. We cannot allow them to make us turn our backs on our neighbors, friends and traditions. We are a nation of immigrants and we have a history of being a country where the American Dream is achievable for all law-abiding people. There are thousands of immigrants fighting for our liberty and security every day. There are thousands of immigrants working on start-up ventures and CEOs of businesses employing Americans. This system of immigration has kept us strong and prosperous. No act of cowardice should make us reject our proud tradition. Furthermore is it foolish to believe delaying immigration reform or shutting our borders will ever solve the problem. We have homegrown terrorists raised here in the United States; Eric Rudolph, the Atlanta Olympic bomber; Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma City bomber; Michael Page, the white supremacist who attacked the Sikh temple in Wisconsin.
