A four-year-old boy yelled ‘Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead!’ to cheers from the hundreds of people who celebrated the death of Baroness Thatcher in London’s Trafalgar Square yesterday.

The boy, named Jack, also yelled: ‘Thatcher’s dead!’ with his father, who gave his name as Howard.

‘I don’t see it as brainwashing,’ Howard, from Islington, north London, told the Sunday Express.

‘It is just learnt behaviour.’
