Obama’s campaign has asked network affiliates in Colorado to take down negative advertising that is running in the state. It is unclear when the ads will be pulled and for how long. A campaign official tells The Hill, “We have asked affiliates in Colorado to pull down our contrast advertising for the time being.
“It takes time for stations to be able to do this, but we are making every effort,” the official said.
Romney’s campaign is pulling all ads in Colorado until further notice, according to campaign spokeswoman Andrea Saul. In a later email exchange, Saul said the campaign was pulling all negative ads for the time being.
