Dude?

“KJ” was the nickname of former Phoenix Suns point guard Kevin Johnson, who retired in 2000 and is now the Mayor of Sacramento. Menino obviously meant to refer to All-Star forward Kevin Garnett, 21.6 points, 10.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks against the Heat, who is often referred to by his initials “KG.”

“Hondo” was the nickname of Havlicek, a Hall of Fame Celtics guard who retired in 1978. Menino obviously was referring to All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo, who is averaging 20.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 11.0 assists and 1.8 steals against the Heat.
