Poll: 47% favor legalizing pot, cocaine to reduce border violence

Sixty-two percent (62%) of Likely U.S. Voters believe consumer demand in this country for illegal drugs is a major factor in the drug violence and gang warfare in Mexico and Central America. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that just 20% don’t think that’s true, and another 18% are not sure.
