“Obama enjoys significant favorability and excitement advantages over Romney, but his support among younger voters today is substantially lower than among younger voters four years ago,” Jones said in a press release.
The results were worse for Romney. Of the 41 percent of 18- to 24-year-olds who said they’d like to see a Republican win the presidential election, only 34 percent of them said that the former Massachusetts governor was their preferred GOP nominee.
