Bachmann: Obama is vastly overrated on foreign policy

“[The GOP candidates are] right on how to handle the economy,” she said. “President Obama has been a disaster. And they understand foreign policy. Probably President Obama’s worst act as president has been on foreign policy. That hasn’t even begun to have the level of scrutiny that it needs to have.”

Bachmann did concede that Obama deserved some credit for killing terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden, but stopped short of high praise for the president, calling it a “tactical success” and not a “strategic” success.

“Of course, but that’s a tactical success,” she said. “But the strategic blunder is putting distance between the United States and Israel. That has a far incalculable level of detriment to the United States and our safety.”
