Good news: We don't need a moon after all

Scientists have previously believed that without the moon the tilt of the Earth would shift over time, experiencing wide fluctuations in climate as the Sun shines almost directly on of the poles, affecting the evolution of life.

But the new research shows that even without a moon, the tilt of Earth’s would vary only about 10 degrees, and the influence of other planets in the solar system could have kept a moonless Earth stable.
