Obama's chief of staff: A no-fly zone isn't a video game, people

Three days after Mr. Obama said he’s considering a full range of both military and nonmilitary options to thwart the violent crackdown by Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gadhafi on rebels, White House Chief of Staff William M. Daley suggested that some supporters of a no-fly zone don’t grasp the seriousness of such an operation.

“Lots of people throw around phrases of ‘no-fly zone,’ and they talk about it as if it’s just a … video game or something,” Mr. Daley said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “When people comment on military action, most of them have no idea what they’re talking about.”
