Poll: Most still blame Bush for the recession

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters say the current economic problems are due to the recession which began under the Bush administration. Forty-one percent (41%) believe the current policies of President Obama are more to blame.

Aside from late July, when voters were evenly divided over who to blame, a majority has blamed the Bush administration for the poor economy since regular surveying began on the question in May 2009.
