U.S. Rep. Chris Carney said whoever leaked classified military reports accusing Pakistan’s spy service of colluding with the Afghan insurgency endangered the United States “far more than they understand.”

The leaks, made public on the website WikiLeaks on Sunday, give the nation’s enemies and potential enemies insight into its wartime behavior, he said.

“They have committed treason in my eyes,” said Carney, D-Dimock Township, a Navy Reserve commander.
